Visualize to Materialize #filmisnotdead

I want to write about visualization for a sec.

When @grampadrew and I set out on a walk to make pitures, I had already visualized the main photograph I wanted to make which was this one.

From this pre-visualized image came a bunch of other photographs that may actually be better than the original I had imagined.

I strive to get the image in my head but then just riff off that just to see what happens which is usually good.

My point is that it’s good to have a plan going into a collaborative but once the main objective is achieved, it’s good to let go and just feel out the rest of the jam.

Have a great week!
