grampadrew graciously invited me to his amazing place up in Idyllwild, CA.
We stayed up there for a few days to reconnect with nature, have gourmet French pressed coffee for breakfast, drink bourbon during the day, and record some amazing music.

(and I’ve been doing this a long while 😁) I don’t see the need for heavy equipment like DSLRs and fat glass especially when it comes to things like landscape and street photography.
All that gear is just cumbersome when a good point and shoot will do just fine for most work.
